Breato is a cross-browser platform.
Breato uses a number of HTML and CSS features to enable the system to be as full-featured as it is and provide users with an environment that is both functional and reliable. To achieve this, Breato can only run on browsers that support these technical features.
New versions of browsers and new browsers are being released constantly and it can take us some time to certify Breato against new browsers.
If you have any questions or find any issue, please contact support@breato.com. In common with other software providers, it is not our policy to guarantee support for Internet Explorer beyond the current and previous major release, or more than three point releases older than the latest version for other browsers. The table below lists the browsers (and the minimum version number) on which Breato has been certified to work as at 1st September 2011. Where you have a free choice, we recommend using Google Chrome.
Supported Browsers and Versions
| Internet Explorer 9 | Breato does not work with any version earlier than IE8. IE8 has slight cosmetic differences (no rounded corners on dialogues and no shadowing). Some users have reported issues over right-mouse click not working in IE8. Changing "compatibility" mode can sometimes affect usability. |
| Firefox 7 | There are currently issues with versions 4 onwards: you cannot tab to a dropdown list. The issue has been raised with Mozilla. |
| Opera 11 | Some point releases of Opera 9 do not support right-click properly. |
| Chromium 14 | No known issues. |
| Safari 5 | No known issues. |
| Google Chrome 12 | No known issues. |
